SECP Form A & Form 29

Every company which is registered with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under

Companies Act 2017 needs to submit annually SECP Form “A” & Form “29”, which is also known as

statutory return of SECP.

Form “A” & Form “29” is mandatory for every company, to submit within the time as mentioned in

Companies Act 2017 and the last date normally is October 31st of every year. If these forms did not

submit on time, SECP imposed a penalty or Inactive of companies or fine for late filing of returns.

What is Form A?

Form “A” is also known as a statutory return Forms of SECP and submit every year after holding Annual

General Meeting.

Form A consists of:-

Detail of directors, members, CEO, Auditor, Legal Adviser, newly appointed directors, CEO etc…

Is there any fee for Form A?

Yes, SECP charges a fee for Form” A” which is submit every year and late filing of Form A and Form 29,

SECP imposes Penalty or Fine.

FORM 29

Form “29” is a very important and compulsory document for every company, which is also submitted

annually or any change of company structure like, Change in Director, CEO appointment / Resignation,

Appointment of Legal Adviser, Appointment of company Secretary, CFO appointment.

Is there any fee for Form 29?

Yes, SECP charges a fee for Form “29” which is submit every year and late filing of Form A and Form “29”

SECP impose Penalty or Fine.

FILING OF ACCOUNTS

Private Limited Companies are required to Appoint Auditor or Authentic Consultant Like “GMW
